Meet the Team

Maria Hopp, M.D.

Dr. Maria Hopp grew up in the Littleton, Colorado area and has lived here for much of her life. She began her college education at the Colorado School of Mines and graduated from the University of Houston. She completed her medical education at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Dr. Hopp moved back to the Denver area and did her family practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. She has been working in the Littleton community for over 20 years.

Dr. Hopp loves working with all types of patients. She is married with three grown children and lives in Littleton, CO. Her interests include running, biking and cooking healthy food. Recently, Dr. Hopp took up the practice of meditative yoga. She loves to read and her favorite book is The Alchemist.

LuAnne Hicks, FNP

LuAnne Hicks was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and grew up in nearby Loveland. She completed her nursing degree and later her master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner certification in 1998 at the University of Colorado. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner for over 20 years including family medicine with Dr. Maria Hopp, primary care pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and most recently women’s health and weight loss. She is currently serving as adjunct faculty in the family nurse practitioner program at Regis University.

LuAnne is passionate about seeing her patients, and those she mentors reach their fullest potential in health and wellness. Her other interests include spoiling her grandchildren, hiking, camping, cycling, and paddle boarding with her husband Al.

Current Nursing and Advanced Practice Licensure State of Colorado
Board Certified as Family Practice Nurse Practitioner through ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) since 1998.

Christine – Patient Care Coordinator

Christine is typically the first one to greet you when you arrive at the clinic. She handles questions related to the services offered at the clinic such as functional medicine, PRP and Stem Cells, and our Bredesen Protocol. Christine is our liaison for our off-site billing staff and can answer questions about your statement or insurance questions. Christine has a diverse business background in office management and has assisted in major health care updates in the last few years.

Christine enjoys working, using her talents on a daily basis to help our patients have the best experience at our clinic. Christine is a native of Colorado and you might see her at the park with her grandchildren, volunteering at a community playground build, or at the next Monster Truck Rally.

Jessica – Patient Care Coordinator & Referral Clerk

Jessica works as a member of the Patient Care Team at TLC. She is a true Colorado native, born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She is a graduate of Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Therapeutic practices and Nutrition. Her passion for the combination of westernized and alternative medicine lead her straight to TLC, where she surrounded with a team dedicated to treating the root of the cause rather than just using medication to treat symptoms.

In her spare time, she often enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, camping, traveling and chasing her never-ending wanderlust. She also cherishes time outside playing with her Chocolate Labrador, Reggie and her Blonde Border Collie, Brew.

Brynne – Health Coach, Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant

Brynne is part of the medical scribe team at TLC, working directly with Dr. Hopp to document patient visits and help increase the efficiency of the clinic. She is an experienced medical scribe and EMT who has worked at several hospitals in Denver and Stadium Medical. Brynne is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management. She is currently continuing her education in sciences at Arapahoe Community College. She moved to Colorado to live an active lifestyle skiing, hiking, and swimming. Brynne also enjoys crafts like making furniture and stained glass. Brynne hopes to apply for a Physician Assistant program soon.

Ellie – Medical Scribe

Ellie is part of the medical scribe team at TLC, working directly with Dr. Hopp to document patient visits and help increase the efficiency of the clinic. Before joining the medical scribe team at TLC she worked for several years as a scribe in the emergency department at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. Ellie is a Colorado native, and completed her undergraduate degree in Public Health at the University of Colorado. She recently obtained an EMT certification and is in the process of applying to medical school. She is passionate about health equity and international humanitarian work in health care which she plans to greater pursue while in medical school.

In her free time you’ll find Ellie volunteering, doing yoga, snowboarding, traveling, cooking, or on the mission to find a good latte.

Dave – Office Manager

Dave is one of the founding members of TLC and works as the clinic’s Office Manager. Much of Dave’s work is off-site, keeping the books and managing other business activities. He is a true Colorado native. Dave grew up in Aurora and attended Colorado School of Mines. He is an avid skier, cyclist, speedskater and general outdoor enthusiast.

After suffering a torn meniscus and achieving a full recovery through Platelet Rich Plasma treatment, Dave wanted to get involved with TLC. He enjoys being part of a clinic that helps patients who feel they have no other options and have not improved with a traditional approach to medicine.
